~True Reflections~

I feel it's all too easy
In this shallow day and age
To compare your outer beauty
to that on a magazine page
The hair, the smile
And flawless skin
The tan, the height
How beautifully thin!
Yet the look on you
Never turns out right
When you try to measure up
Its always nope and not quite
So I say take a look
At yourse;f without the mirror
And maybe then within yourself
Your beauty will be clearer
True that models they are beautiful
The skin, the clothes, the face
But superficial beauty
In time it will be erased
True beauty lies within you
From loving who you are
The passion for the things you do
In life will take you far
So remeber to look inward
And set aside your pride
And there will be your beauty
Shining deep inside....
